Walt Disney World Dining App

Not only is Disney World known for their array of delicious food, but they’re also recognized for providing those with special dietary needs with many appetizing options. However, it can still be a difficult task for people to track down the accommodations needed. The goal of this app is to reduce this struggle and make both finding and ordering food at Walt Disney World Parks easier, while staying loyal to Disney branding. To do so, there are a number of filters and preferences available within the app, but specfically, there is a set of preferences for dietary needs that can be saved and automatically put into effect everytime the app is used.

These are a selection of screens from my app, specifically focusing on the unique feature for those with dietary needs. While staying with Disney’s brand, I wanted to showcase how designers can put those with different needs at the forefront of our process. These selections are accompanied by a number of promotional pieces that would be displayed around Disney World property, encouraging people to download the app and take advantage of the new feature.
